I know the correlation between the BB tests and actual scores (or lack thereof) has been discussed at length on various threads, but there seems to have been no definite conclusion on this issue. Is there a general consensus on this issue? It would also help me just to see your BB scores and your real score(s).

I think a lot of things are factored in when comparing BB tests actual tests. Pressure, amount of sleep, time of the day, and breaks are just a few. It really comes down to the test taker in terms of their habits and how they deal under pressure.

Well for me, my practice test scores in the BB were pretty close to what I got on the real thing. I noticed that my actual test score compared to my BB test scores were slightly lower but its not alot. But like driscol said, it varies from person to person due to many various factors.

i second "depends on test taker" and would like to add "and on conditions when taken"
as well as the psychological "real" vs "fake" thing

This really only applies to me but I do better on the actual test because a) I work better under pressure, b) I tend to be much more careful on the actual test and finally c) The actual test questions seem easier than the BB tests for reasons I don't know, at least for the math and writing.

^ I'm a lot like you; I focus pretty well under pressure and tend to be more careful. But I've been bothered by a number of people who say things like this:

And don't use the Official SAT study guide from Collegeboard. You would think it would be good because its distributed by the people who make the test, but collegeboard makes it WAY easier than the actual test, so you'll be screwed on actual test day.

I've been scoring in the 2300-2400 range in the BB, so I'm hoping my real score will be something in that range.
