Because you don't know the material. If you don't have proper guides that will actually TEACH you the CONCEPTS of mathematics, you won't magically know how to do geometry.

I know about the writing thing! My scaled score on my first test was a 620-780, that is such a huge range. I just always take the middle, so i gave myself a 700. And you should stop doing practice tests and review the main concepts briefly in the blue book before the practice tests. I felt like that the math was really sharp in this book as well.

i went over the concepts, took classes, and also, did you CC'ers feel that the practice tests got harder the further you got in the book?
