blue book's curve?

I just took a practice SAT today. My score, from the low end of the curve is 1950. However, on the high end, it's 2230. Should I take the average of 2090 or should i lean left, right, etc?
FOr those who have taken the sat, which seems more realistic?

Both times I took the SAT my actual results were about 20 points away from the top of the scale. However, I am someone who responds well to pressure (ie I don't bother to check my work on practice tests but I do on the real thing) so my anecdotal experience would probably not offer you much of an idea about how well you will really do when the actual ACT rolls around. I have heard other people say that they subtract 20-40 points from the middle score, though, based on the overly generous writing curve in the blue book.

yea i've had the same problem with this, how much should u subtract realisticly?

In my experience, an accurate score is the average score +20 or so.

Go with the curves for the March, May or June test

Sr6622 or anyone else, can you post the entire conversion chart for the March test?
