Does BME 140 use a text book? If so, does anyone know which one?

I’m not an engineer, but on WebSTAC isn’t there a thing you can click that says “order textbooks” on your class schedule page (I haven’t tried it yet so idk if it actually works). I would try that while you’re waiting for better responses :)

EDIT: I just looked and nothing was up yet for any of my classes so most likely nothing will be up for yours either, sorry.

The book is Intro to Biomedical Engineering by Enderle. You don’t use it too much freshman year, but its the same book you use for QP. I doubt the other books you’ll need will change much, either. Stewart Single Variable for 132, Multivariable for 233, intro the chemistry by Oxtoby for chem, and either University Physics by Young for 117, or Six Ideas that Shaped Physics by Moore for 197. It seems like a lot of these books just came out with new editions, which sucks for me trying to get rid of my copies…

rainbowrose- books are listed. but not through the bookstore. click the ‘books’ button on courselistings next to your class.

Thanks Johnson181 :)

By the way, when it says select 1 of 2, is the only difference that one is an Ebook and one is a real textbook?

If they have the same name and everything then probably.

I’d highly recommend waiting till you actually get the syllabus or talk to the professor before ordering anything. Last semester I had one course where the book posted was incorrect (prof screwed up), and one course where the books that were listed were really optional.
