Boarding School Applicants for 2014-15 School Year

MY PEOPLE!! I HAVE FOUND YOU!!!

I have a 52% SSAT score…Lord help me

I’m pretty sure Lawrenceville is 80ish… Not sure though.

@stargirl3 no it’s not

@warewofo I didn’t think it is, but this line made me think so.

I just want to get the letters now :L

@march10thwaiting

 1. I love your username.
 2. Welcome to CC, where you will find other like-minded anxious applicants!
 3. I agree, but I feel like waiting is–and should be–an important part of the process. It just feels like part of the lesson we’ll all learn.
4. Good luck! :D

26 days!

Hey CC! I’m back! Boy, this waiting is terrible. And although waiting is a necessary part of the admissions office, it doesn’t mean we can’t complain about it :D. As time passes, I spend more and more of each day thinking about M10. I just can’t resist. The only thing that takes my mind off of it is playing the saxophone and day dreaming about things other than M10, such as other people or being in the Olympics :))

Oh man, what is there to dream about aside from March 10?

I know, move-in day! :D

If I get in, the wait for move-in day will be terrible! Too much waiting in life, but the reward of waiting is great.

Whoa there, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We should cross the move-in day bridge when we get there. Right now, we’re just waiting to cross the M10 bridge. And the Olympics are a gift right now. Watching people slide big stones on ice or do tricks on a half-pipe really helps one get their mind off M10!

GO AMERICA!!!

Chants of “USA! USA! USA” rage on in the background

I have no TV. No Olympics!

You can still support America in spirit!! :D

Chanting of “USA! USA! USA!” continues in the background

dude @stargirl3 I have no TV either I’ve finally met someone in the same situation as I am can’t wrap my head around this

@whyamievenhere I watch stuff (probably illegally) online, but that’s it. On the first day of sixth grade health, the teacher asked people to raise their hand if they had no more than one TV in their home. I was one of two, but he at least had one… :)

@stargirl3 haha and when I tell people, they’re always like ‘you have NO TV?! WHAT IS LIFE LIKE FOR YOU??!’ But it actually really isn’t that bad. (scared I’m doing the whole diverting from topic on a thread thing and people might get mad)

@whyamievenhere No worries. The whole point of this thread is for this years’s applicants to talk and pass the time, and that’s exactly what you’re doing.

This time is actually going by pretty quickly. I mean we have 23 days left and we’ve already gone through 30.

The time actually seems to be slowing down from my perspective. I stated counting down back when there were 69 days left, and the time was going by so fast. Now, it seems s if these last few days are taking forever.
