<p>My school’s marking periods are divided into quarters. And these schools only require the report cards from the first quarter, right? Because my first quarter recently ended and my second quarter ends in early February, and that’s past the app deadline.
And sorry if this isn’t the most appropriate thread to be posting this on.</p>
<p>sandol I don’t see what you are asking… I’ll presume that your asking which quarter you send? most schools require you to send the most recent and send the 2nd as soon it has come out (doesnt matter if its after the deadline) as long as its b4 the decision ( MAR 10)</p>

<p>i’m not planning on applying to boarding schools, but rather summer programs and a bunch of them require similar application documents, so–</p>
<p>my school district is on strike, so no report cards have been given out. thus i don’t have my grades for the first term of the year; how am i supposed to provide an “official academic transcript” this way, especially from my counselor, since my counselor/teacher/school/district isn’t giving out marks? :S</p>

<p>Woot woot!!! I’m so excited/nervous. However, for now I’ll just focus on perfecting my apps. But once they’re all in, I’m going to create a huge countdown calendar and make myself as busy as possible to make the days go by faster. Ahh the suspense is killing me!!!</p>
<p>Right now I’m crankimg out essays like there’s no tommorow. Then over Christmas break I’m gonna be meticulously editing.</p>
<p>Where do you include a list of your awards? I know on the Profile/Information Form there was a space for your EC’s, but it never occured to me until now that was for awards. I just put in hours, positions held, etc. Is it?</p>
<p>I’m soooooo happy M10 is on a Saturday next yr! I can stay up with y’all all night Friday, and get to sleep in(as if) :)</p>
<p>Oh and I’m seeing one of my favorite musicals of all time on M10! If I don’tget in I’ll have something to look forward to that night, if I do then it’ll be the best day of my life.</p>
<p>Wait, what time of day to they release decisions online? Or is it just by mail?</p>

So I was wondering which schools you all have crossed off or added to your lists after visits? And why?</p>
<p>Well, from the get-go I had Andover, Choate, and Hotchkiss. And after the visits, I have stayed with all three. I started the process kind of late (and naive, thinking I didn’t need a safety school) so that’s why my selection process has not been that complex. 
It’s kind of go big or go home for me… although I really wish I applied to NMH or Peddie or something…</p>
<p>Go big or go home. That’s my selection process (Choate, Deerfield, Andover, Exeter) and me generally… I should change that to my username.</p>
<p>Well, hopefully, when March 10th rolls around we get accepted into at least one!!!
