<p>yes, they were the only two.... but i applied as a boarder.. that will help a bit...I already wrote a nice email and i hope i am in the top ranking of the waitlist!</p>
<p>kevster, don't give up on the waitlist. students do get in off the waitlist. heck, why not you. did you apply to any other schools?</p>

<p>lol prepparent: thanks! i wrote a strong email saying that i am still not giving up. i just applied to CATE AND THACHER. the good thing is that CATE is my first choice</p>
<p>Hmmm...I don't think you should sound too desparate (but then again, what do I know)...but you probably should ask them if there is ANYTHING you can do to make your chances of being taken off the wait list better...probably with different wording but if I were you I'd be sending an extremely sincere email to the admissions director.</p>
<p>Is it true that when an accepted student refuses to enter to the specific school, the committe tries the best to choose the most similar student to the student that was accepted but refused?</p>
