BOCO Chicago Unified Accompaniment

We forgot to call BOCO yesterday, and we're getting ready to fly to Chicago for the Unified Auditions. The only place on my daughters list that requires recorded accompanment is BOCO. Does anyone know whether they supply the CD player or if we need to lug along our old big boombox on the plane? We are planning to take a laptop that can play CD's (although not very loud), do you think that would be OK to use?
Another questions: Are the auditions in conference rooms, or large guest suites....... just curious?
Are parent expected to be there for information type sessions etc. or is it better to stay away? (Like stay in bed upstairs in your room untill everything is over, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

probably too late to be of much help, but we just returned from NY unifieds some places had boom boxes, others did not. What we did was use a portable DVD player and bought inexpensive ($15) speakers for it at Radio Shack. This gave the volume and we still have a very light weight player. Other kids borrowed.
