<p>Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I wrote on the other board that this is not the end of the road for those who were not accepted. My D had to go through this twice, with tons of prep work in between and it paid off. Catsmom...D was SO happy to call your D and tell her! She was also excited that the department chair (I think?) was passing your D when she was on the phonewith mine, and when she mentioned she was on with my D's (first name), the chair said "Oh, (first name, last name?) He remembered her name. She was on cloud nine!</p>

<p>Lynn and Catsmom....remember all meeting up at Emerson last year? Well, now your D's will be together and you will be BOCO moms together. Pretty cool! Best wishes.</p>

<p>First off, long-time lurker, first-time poster so.... hello!</p>

<p>I just got accepted... but I'm not sure whether I should be excited yet.</p>

<p>Here is the exact text of the acceptance:</p>

<p>"On behalf of the President, administration, and faculty, I am very pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to The Boston Conservatory. We would like you to join our Fall 2006 class as a Freshman student and a candidate for the BFA Musical Theater Degree."</p>

<p>When it says I am a "candidate" for the BFA MT degree, does that mean that I am actually into the program?? Is there another audition or something once I get to the school? Or is it just a poorly worded letter.</p>

<p>Someone please help me, as I would like to start jumping up and down without any doubts.</p>
