I called and they said the auditions would be avaiable online to sign up Fri. at 5pm (aha! right after they left for the weekend). I can’t access the so calle “events” button. Anyone else succeed?

I haven't been able to either but, so far, everyone I've tried to register with has been late so maybe it's normal for this sort of thing to happen...

Can you even see the "Events" box? I don't have one on my screen.

No . I can't see it either. This process is not made an easy one is it?!

Hey-
They're up now so you can schedule one. I've got mine from 10-11 at Chicago on the 7th. I'm excited!
-Dan

Congratulations, dan, and thank you for the heads up. Later this morning, I actually received an e-mail response to my query about the confusion, and they said they accidentally left those fields out.
I will join you in your excitement, and was able to schedule my dd's appt. in NY 2/4. Break legs, or "merde" as they say for dance{:-)

Thanks for all the info....I got to schedule my d's audition this morning as well! She's auditioning in Atlanta.

I am auditioning at the NYC audition on February the 2nd. Anyone else signed up for that one? What pieces are ya'll doing? See ya there and good luck!

~Texas

I'm auditioning the last audition weekend, March 3rd. I want to make sure I'm entirely comfortable with my material before I audition, since it's a top choice.

I have a question, so If I am scheduled for a(n) vocal/monlogue appointment at one school at 11:10 AM, how long do you think the wait would be? How far after should I schedule my next school if its regional?

I would say give at least like 3-4 hours in between auditions. You never know how long it might take at the earlier school. Plus if you get done earlier than expected you can rest and prepare again for the next school, especially if the monologue/song requirements are different for both schools.

You might also want to find out what the specific schedule is like at the two schools... some schools schedule you for a specific audition time, other expect you to hold out the entire day for their audition.

I did the Unified auditions in Chicago last year, and I did 4 auditions and a long dance audition all in one day. The unifieds are great, because most schools will see people who aren't scheduled as walk-ins. Ask around when you get there and you shouldn't have any trouble getting appointments. My only scheduled audition was for BoCo, but I got walk-ins at Carnegie Mellon, Ithaca, Penn State, and University of Oklahoma.

my BoCo audition is February 23rd, 10:00 a.m. at Boco. I have a show that night back here in CT so im going to be STRESSED TO THE MAX that day but i called and they said I should be able to get back for a 6:00 call time no problem. Im a bit nerviosa about it just because i LOVE that school! Is ne1 else auditioning then?!? hoppeee sooo!!! <333

Hey bwaychic---Is this who I think it is? You will be fine as long as I am not driving you back to CT! Ha! Take a deep breath..............................

you know....I've been emailing them because its reported that some of my materials haven't arrived, which I have sent months ago...so I'm kind of worried. Should I assume they are still processing, or perhaps call the school directly?

Broadwaybelter:

I called the school on Dec. 1st (their application/material deadline date) to ask what was still missing from my application and they told me then that they had baskets and baskets full of mail and that they were only just starting processing now. The guy I talked to said that this process will take a while and that they will begin emailing people, if they are missing materials, in late January. The guy was really nice and gave me the impression that if there would be a mailing snafu and something you sent in didn't arrive, that they will tell you and you can resend it without a problem. I'm still missing a transcript and a recommendation from my application so I'm hoping that they have it, but haven't gotten to that "basket".

Anyways don't stress, they will let you know and it won't have any effect on your admission if you need to resend something. :)

I had a similar response when I called in December, that they would be taking a long time to get through to all the mail. Like BreakIntoSong said, try not to stress about it, but do keep checking every once in a while to make sure that if anything does need to get resent, it does! I would definitely call the school, if you are calm and friendly to them, they will be more than happy to help you, at least in my experience!

okay, I suppose i'll wait for a response.

I got an e-mail today with a link which led to the status of my D's application. Hers was complete (thank goodness!). You should be receiving one also I would think.
