That’s all they were ever meant to be. Intro courses at average colleges. Of course the bio AP isn’t the same as biology at Harvard (though dh thought it was better than the intro bio he took there back in the dark ages.) One thing I like about APs is that they do ensure a minimum standard which some high schools sorely need.</p>
<p>I don’t think studying for a test is all bad, as long as it is a decent test. At least APs aren’t ALL multiple choice.</p>
