Book reports on science subjects?

This fall I'll be taking AP Biology and AP Environmental science. The teacher requires us to do book reports on two books:
1) Cradle to cradle
2) Your inner fish

The thing is, I've never done a book report before, not to mention a science book report, which seems kinda wack. I've tried to email the teacher since mid June, but now there has been no reply back. So if any of you have experience in this, please help me out.
Thank you

“Your inner fish” is quite an interesting title.

It’s about evolution, interesting indeed.

I never had to do book reports as such either, though ><

You aren’t doing a “science book report.”

Cradle to Cradle is a business book.

Your Inner Fish is more historical commentary with evolutionary science concepts intermixed.

It is very simple.

State the book’s premise.

Summarize the book’s progression and its assertions.

State your reaction to the book.

Analyze your reaction to the book.

Analyze the assertions of the book.

Analyze your reactions to the assertions of the book.

3-6 are basically one section.

BOOK REPORTS

Summer Reading (for Fall semester, choose one)
Dawkins, Richard. The Selfish Gene: 30th Anniversary Edition. 2006.
Huxley, Aldous. Brave New World and Brave New World Revisited. 2005.
Pollan, Michael. The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals. 2007.
Shubin, Neil. Your Inner Fish: A Journey into the 3.5-Billion-Year History of the Human Body. 2008.
Weisman, Alan. The World Without Us. 2008.

IDK if she wants us to do the book report now or in the fall, as she doesn;t reply my email

Cradle to cradle is a business book?
How’s so? It talks about the environment
