Need supplemental books to study from for college science classes.

<p>Hey everyone</p>

<p>I am an incoming freshman, and my current major is Biology.</p>

<p>Since Biology is my field of study.. I may as well excell in that class. I was wondering if any one knew a shorthand/review book for freshman biology that I can use alongside the class, to better understand the material. </p>

<p>Would an AP Biology prep book suffice? </p>

<p>Also.. I'd thoroughly appreciate it if any one knew also supplemental books that simplifies the Chemistry and Physics concepts because I did not take Physics in high school, and the Chemistry class was a joke and I did not learn anything. </p>

<p>Raven’s Biology is a good website to use to test yourself and see animations explaining core concepts of a Gen Bio class. If you are using one of Raven’s books, it make it even easier since you have a chapter by chapter quizzing guide</p>
