Is there any way to find out the components for a enhanced/custom package of books so I could buy each part separately or somehow together online (i.e. Amazon)? I tried using the ISBN provided on the Text proce List for a Chemistry package on Amazon but no results turned up.

I’m stressing pretty hard about this too… I’m pretty sure the chem one has a code to use online components, and I don’t know if we really actually need that or not. If we do, it’s soooo expensive.

I received an email today saying I don’t need the custom version for physics, so that saved me $60. Really great since I thought I’d need the enhanced/customs for all the classes

Yeah I’m kind of stressing too - exactly my point on the Chem package. I’m hoping I don’t need all custom versions too.

where are you guys finding which books you need?

thankyouthankyou

So is it alright to just buy the books (Physics, Chem, Lit, etc.) at the Book Store once I get there during Orientation week? They’ll have them in stock, correct?

They should. There is also a way to send your schedule to the bookstore and they will pull everything you need and have it boxed for you. They may have had a deadline for this service, but I do not know for sure.

Ok thanks. Yeah the deadline has passed but I wanted to make sure I could buy the books I need once I get there. Will there be used copies available during Orientation week or will most be bought/reserved before then?

You need a new packet for the supplement any way. DD says she did not have any trouble finding them. They should have a good number if everyone has to buy it at Pitt.
