Which books would you recommend for self-studying geometry and chemistry? I'm not home schooled (I go to private school) but I want to do some advance work. I'm not sure if I should take an online course because it's not exactly cheap, and I'm not familiar with online schools so I don't know if they really help a whole lot in comparison to self-studying. What would you suggest I do?

My kids used things like Princeton Review Chemistry SAT II and Geometry for Dummies to supplement their regular textbooks. Many homeschoolers use things like Saxon products for math and Dr. Jay Wile's books for science, but you would find these to be very similar to textbooks you would encounter in a traditional school.
