Books for TOEFL

Any suggstions s to which book to consult to prepare for the TOEFl

also which TOEFL should i write, iBT or CBT

I'd say iBT, its the newest format and (although I'm not sure about this, is perhaps shorter).

The TOEFL's such a simple exam for people studying in the Indian Boards that it only requires preparation in that you have to be familiar with the type of questions. I borrowed the Princeton Review book from a friend, had a quick read through it and found it to be enough. The TOEFL's really a formality anyway since we study in an English medium curriculum. (I'm assuming you're in CBSE or ISC).
When are you writing it?

Books? I'll give you a piece of advice. Go, download and watch as much TV programs in English as you can. That'll be way more helpful in learning and understanding English than reading books. That and the TOEFL is a complete joke.

I heard that the new computer based ones are harder for the non-fluent english speakers..
I looked at a toefl book in the library and it's totally like the ESOL classes I used to take when I was 8.. ok maybe a bit more advanced in vocabs than that.
If you are fluent in english, it should be reaaaaaaaaly easy.

yeah i agree with blobof, i just finished my toefl, it's easy but it's better buy 2 toefl cd delta and cambridge, and yeah you are ready within 2 days

Thank you ppl, I really didn't expext replies...

I shalt follow thee.
