I'll be a freshmen at Cal Poly next year for EE and my high school never offered many classes regarding engineering, really at all... so I was wondering if there were any good books on EE that I could read over the summer so I dont feel so behind...

I'd say something like 99% of high schools don't offer particularly usable classes on engineering, and my guess is that 97% of high schools don't offer any engineering classes... You won't feel behind, I promise...

Don't worry about it, almost no one has had exposure to EE in high school. If you really want to get a head start, my opinion is that a firm grasp of freshman physics (mechanics and electricity/magnetism) is more important than exposure to EE.
