Hi all. I took my first SAT on 26th January 2013. I think I'm going to get around 500-550 from CR, 520-580 Writing and 670-700 Math. I practiced a lot with Blue Book (I made 8 out of 10 tests with avergage scores: 1680 - 1880) and with Barron's SAT guide (only Math sections - average score from math was always 20-40 pts lower than that from BB). I also learned all words from both Direct hits books. And now I have a few questions:

Math:
my average score from BB: 620-650 but I really think I will get at least 680 on the real thing.
I want to improve that score up to at least 750. Do you think I should buy Barron's Math workbook or it would be better to work with Dr. John Chung's SAT Math that many people find very useful? or maybe other books (Gruber etc)???

CR:
I definitely have to work on Critical Reading. I know strategies but need extra practice. I am thinking about Barron's 2400. (Is Barrons CR workbook useful?)

Writing:
I only struggle with essays. I know the general template and strategies but have to work on good examples. Maybe some useful book to help me with that?

Concluding, I am looking for some books with practice tests for CR and Math. I've heard that McGraw-Hill's 12 SAT Practice Tests is very good - is that true?

Books that I'm thinking about:

Barrons 2400
McGraw-Hill's 12 SAT Practice Tests
Dr. John Chung's SAT Math
Maybe Barrons Math and CR workbook
