So is there a site online we can find out what books we need for our classes so we can buy them online earlier so it's cheaper? or we wont know until the 1st day of class. And also, if we buy books online will they send it to our dorm mailbox? or only to the school in general

Im a bio major and i wanna study for bio sci 93 and chem 1a before i take them bc i forgot everything so it'd be better if i have the books beforehand.

My advice is to go to the eee website and look at last year's syllabus for that class and professor and hope the books are the same. Usually professors will use the same books every year, just newer editions if they're available.

Go here:

Good luck!

I know this doesn't help any of you, but I'm studying abroad in Chile right now and at the beginning of the semester the prof gives you a list of stuff to get photocopied then you just take the list to the photocopy shop place on campus and they photocopy all of it (don't have to find the books or anything)..AND it's really cheap since they don't care about copyright laws. I paid about $2.50 for half of the semesters readings for a class. If that were put into a reader at UCI it would have cost at least $50.
