<p>I didn't do the pre-order program with textbooks at UNC this year. How do I find out what books I need for this semester?</p>

<p>first Logon on to MyUNC, which is at <a href="https://my.unc.edu:4448/portal/page?_pageid=33,32408,33_32412&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL%5B/url%5D">https://my.unc.edu:4448/portal/page?_pageid=33,32408,33_32412&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL</a></p>
<p>then, click on "Login to MyUNC" on the left side of the screen. and enter your onyen and password.
once your logged on, click on the tab marked "Student"
then you'll see a list of your Fall courses and a button below that saying "Show my Books"</p>
<p>and if you don't want to go through that then whenever you move into Carolina and go buy your books, then all you need to do is go find you subject in the Student Book Store. For example, i have Engl 24 with Prof. Ho, so I would go to the section of the store marked Engl and I would look down the aisle until I see Engl 24 on a little posted sign on the shelf, one of the signs will say Prof Ho and all the course information such as section # and time, it will also list the books you need which will all be below the little sign. </p>
<p>just so you know, its gonna be a big mess in there because of all the pre-order boxes from the incoming student all over the place so I'd go there ASAP to be the crowd</p>

<p>I actually had never heard of the MyUNC site, only Student Central. I might end up changing some of my classes when fall semester opens, so I guess my books might change at the last minute too.</p>
<p>yea, good idea, I plan on changing some stuff around too. I can't wait til the system opens up again.</p>
