I signed up for three classes, Oakes core class, Intro to Politics and some theater class. Am i suppose to buy books already or do i have to wait until the first day of school so the professor tells me which books to get?

Sometimes they’ll list the books on the Bay Tree website ahead of time, and sometimes you’ll have to wait for the syllabus to see everything that you’ll need. Syllabi can sometimes be found online, though. Waiting until school starts is totally fine.

what theatre class? <– curious former theatre major

Some Chicano/Chicana theater class. I heard it was a fun class. :D

Can you find all the books you need at the bookstore guys?

I’d wait till the first day of class because sometimes the professor will say “Oh… this book is completely optional and only for students who want it.” The baytree bookstore usually lists all the books for courses (with the exception of readers) and you can find out what books you need. I usually just find the book list from baytree and then buy the books via Amazon to save a lot of $$$. Also you might want to ask some people who have taken the course before cause I’ve purchased books that I’ve NEVER used in class.
