Boost SAT 1 or take SAT2 Math2C&Physics?

Hi!

I have a question (well - in fact many questions haha)

I have SAT II Math 1C - 800 and SAT II Physics 740 and I want to study physics/engineering at uni

So - do I have to take SAT II Math 2C? I mean - will my application look better if I have Math 2C (hoping 800p). And is it going to look bad if I screw math 2C - I mean I get 700 or higher but not 800? And also do I have to retake sat II physics to get 800 (as I am applying with physics)?

I am asking this because I really need to boost my SAT 1 scores (I got just 1890p) and I need something about 2000 (reachable for now) (best - smth. about 2100 - but 2100 is... wow as in school we don't study English intensively) and instead of learning again for SAT II Physics and preparing for SAT II Math 2C I can study for SAT 1????

I am applying for Brown or Stanford ED and RD at Washington and Lee (where my brothers studies), Duke, Caltech, MIT, RPI (but they don't give full scholarships for internationals), Columbia etc

Definitely SAT I. Your SAT II score are just fine

Thank you again, flid ^^

SAT I please, international with sub 1900 stands little chance at those schools.

I'm not sure, but I believe some school require SAT II Math 2C...I think Caltech.

Yes, Caltech wants Math 2C. Forgot about that before. Well, that's really a dilemma. with your current SAT I you have very little chance of getting into those schools.
So, you have three options
1) take SAT I and forget about Caltech
2) take SAT math 2c and apply to these school (with a small chance of getting in)
3) take them both and improve and have better chances

Math IIC is super easy with a very generous curve. If you can get 740 on the physics SATII, then getting 800 on the Math IIC should be no problem.

I would take both the SAT I and the Math IIC SATII.

Hmm yeah - the situation is not good ^^

Well - I am taking SAT 1 on October 4th and I'll pay to take sat2 math 2c and physics on November. I think there is an option to order scores early and I'll do so for my October SAT1 and if I am not satisfied with the result I'll pay some $ to take SAT 1 again in November instead of sat 2s

The question is - if I order the results to come early... when I'll know them o.O
