SAT 1 again???

At this point I have a 1460 on the SAT. 700-math, 760-verbal, and I am contemplating taking it again to bring up my math score, which is not stellar. However if I do well on the SAT II math IIC would that overpower my math score on the SAT I. I don't know what to do. I do have research experience, I've done the CHICOS program with Caltech and I am doing an experiment on plasma physics at UCLA, as a part of the LAPTAG program. I will have letters of recommendation from the UCLA professor who runs the program and the post-doc at Caltech who runs CHICOS. Will the letters of recommendation help in admissions. Let me know what you think on whether or not I should take the SAT I again. Any other advise in relation to admissions or life in general would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you have <1500 it's worth retaking the SAT1.

Thanks for the answer, that is what I was thinking,
however since there is only one test date left that will affect my admissions, I was wondering if I do badly on the SAT IIs (below 700 on Math IIC, Chem, and writing) should I retake SAT or SATIIs or does it not really matter. I just took SAT IIs this past Saturday and I really haven't a clue as to how I did, and am in a conundrum because I can't figure out what to study for. Any advise?
Thanks,

If you have below a 700 on the SATII's you shouldn't apply to Caltech, you wouldn't be doing yourself a favor even if you got in.
