Boosting GPA Senior Year

Don't know if this is where I should put this but I need this question answered. I'm currently a junior and after sophomore year my GPA was 2.65. After junior year it should be 2.8 or 2.9. The reason it was so low after sophomore year was I slacked off but I'm done with that now and got it into gear junior year. My question is if I take a challenging class load senior year (AP/Dual Credit Classes) and redo classes that I got bad grades in can I boost up my GPA to at least a 3.2. I think if I got a 3.2 or higher paired with my SAT scores that I wouldn't have a problem getting into any of my choices. I scored a 1980 on my SAT, so I'm not a dumb kid just didn't care freshman and sophomore year. So what do you guys think? Is it possible to boost my GPA with a full course load of challenging classes next year?

I went from a 3.81 to a 3.88 senior year with 3 APs and 1 honor. It took 5 As and 1 B+

So that would be a no it’s not possible then?

You said that you went from 3.81 to 3.88 which would be a .07 increase. So I figured you meant that I couldn’t go from a 2.8-2.9 to a 3.2 since that would be a .4 to a .5 increase.

Have you covered averages and decimals in math? It shouldn’t be to hard to plug in various combinations of grade and weighting and figure out what the impact would be.
