Does anyone know if BC and ND send a few students to IB every year. I know there arent a lot of recruiters at the aforementioned, but with their good academics and alumni networking do some studets end up at a big IB company?

Go to ND and don’t look back! ND has an outstanding rep among many that I’ve talked to and the business school has started placing more and more into the industry. BC has location, but honestly no where near the network that ND will provide. I wouldn’t say ND is a “target” just yet, but most definitely a semi-target that gets many recruiters. Every year we have a good amount get recruited by BBs.

ND puts more than a few students in IB every year.

ND would be better than BC for Ibanking recruitment

Honestly, I think ND is going to be one of the fasted rising schools in the country and could eventually reach the status just below HPSW for IBanking recruiting. If you get the chance to go I would seriously consider it.

This was a legitimate question approx. three to four years ago, but now, it’s not even close. ND beats BC hands down in IBD recruiting. All BBs recruit here and now some big institutionals/ PEs/ HFs are getting involved as well. They include Fidelity, Blackstone, Black River, Grosvenor (3rd in HFS), Putnam, endowments, etc. etc. If you want to do industrials IB, definitely go to ND. Lots of opportunities in Chicago.

ND gets a lot of hate on these boards (which was rightfully so a couple of years back since ND’s bb presence wasn’t very strong), but now, it’s a totally different story that only ND undergrads and MBAs currently going through the system know best.
