Boston College Chances

Just wondering what my chances might be for regular decision class of 2020. I’ve been looking at Boston College for a while, but I’ve recently become worried about my GPA. I’ve found it really hard to figure out what the GPA that colleges will recalculate is because it’s so varied, so that is my major concern. Also, if it makes a difference, I’m probably pursuing a major in Government and/or History. Thanks.

Academics
-GPA: 4.522 (weighted, school uses a weird system), 3.7 (unweighted, again school uses a weird system) (it could also be up to a 3.8 if calculated using a more standard system).
-ACT: 31 (June 2015)
-SAT: 2060 (Super scored from January and March) I took a third time in October but still waiting on a score. I think it probably is higher maybe in the 2100s.
-SAT Subject Tests: US History: 780, Biology E: 740
-AP Exams: US History: 5, Calculus AB: 5, English Language: 5, Comparative Government: 5
-Rigor: Any time I could took APs and/or honors I did.

SAT is too low

might also look at Holy Cross.

Go for EA buddy! You got this

Last yr BC got a 25% increase in applications. Something like 30,000+ They ended up turning down or WL kids they would usually accept. If they get as many apps this year, I think it’s going to be a reach for you. A 32 ACT would put you in a better spot

Submit your ACT, not your SAT, and you should have a shot.

did you get in? chance me?

According to one of his other threads, he got in.
