Good luck to everyone!! Hope to see you on campus in the Fall!..VERY nervous!!
@redwag @jas766 Good luck to you too!! I’m so so excited but also so nervous… What are you all doing to pass the time before decisions come out?
@023ughger …Online learning…in this crazy world we live in these days.
Reading and taking walks in the park to avoid thinking about it. But I can’t help to be super excited. Hope to see everyone on campus in the Fall!
Anyone have any predictions on what time it will come out?
probably around 3pm or 4 pm EST. BC twitter account said “late afternoon”
Check out this link below. BC has already put up an admitted student page. So nervous and excited at the same time.
https://www.bc.edu/bc-web/admission/sites/admitted-students.html
From BC Admissions Twitter as of 3:13 pm: “Admission decisions have started to be sent via e-mail in no particular order.”
That admitted students day page has been there since the EA acceptances went out. My daughter that graduated last year in in it about 20 seconds in, a group of kids hanging out behind her mod. My son is waiting to hear today.
Boston College didn’t have EA. Just early decision.
Just received acceptance email. Whoop!
Got in . Absolutely happy
Waitlist lol
DC got in.Financial Aid tomorrow? $76,000.00 is a lot of money.
Waitlist
Can anyone give me advice? I was waitlisted from over 6 schools. 1460 SAT, ranked second with a 4.0 UW and 105.98 weighted GPA since my school is on a 100 scale, and I am involved in multiple activities. Essays are subjective, but I believe mine were pretty good. I got into my safety schools, but they are full price at over $50,000. I was betting on more prestigious institutions to give me money, but unfortunately, I was not admitted.
Accepted to Morrissey! Biology major on a Pre-Med Track.

Recommender:
Teacher #1: 9/10
Teacher #2: 10/10
College Counselor: 9/10; it might be important to note that he was my AP Spanish teacher, which might have helped.
For context, I also have been accepted to UC Davis, UC Irvine (Regent’s Scholar and Honors Program), UCSD (Regent’s Scholar), Fordham (Full ride), LMU (Half Tuition). and Pepperdine (Pepperdine Achievement Scholarship. Good luck to everyone in your college adventures!
I was Waitlisted, I have a 1370 SAT and a 4.0 UW and my essay was decent i think. Second school that’s waitlisted me so far (CWRU) - Barnard is my dream school so its making me worry a little for tomorrows decision but i think my essays for Barnard (and i interviewed and toured campus many times) are stronger. Who knows!!! Congratulations to all

@Dancer874 I feel you! I just got waitlisted as well and BC was one of my top choices. I’m super bummed and this whole process makes you feel like your best wasn’t good enough, but I’m choosing to believe that if I didn’t get in, it probably wouldn’t have been a great fit anyway. It really sucks though. Just in case you were wondering, I have similar stats: 1510 SAT, 4.0 uwGPA, pretty good extracurriculars and essays, and good letters of recommendation. The college admissions process is a crapshoot where everything is relative. Don’t be too hard on yourself!
