Is anyone from Community College trying to transfer to BC?
@koreanincali I am transfering from a cc in NY
@anambe oh that’s awesome! can i ask you what your stats are and how many credits you’re going in with?
@anambe i’m transferring from a cc in california and i’ve applied to Northeastern, BC, and BU
@koreanincali I currently have 34 credits but when this semester ends I will have 52. I have a 3.96 GPA and I didn’t take the SAT or ACT. I applied to BC, NYU, WUSTL, Bryn Mawr, and Wellesley. I will apply to other colleges next week. Still not sure which ones though.
@amambe what schools are still accepting applications?
@Dontskipthemoose there are hundreds of schools that accept apps through the summer; even in August. They just typically aren’t highly ranked.
One more week (ish) !!!
Did they announce the official date?
They didn’t, but it will probably be this Friday at 5pm! @Dontskipthemoose
@transferfromgwu I see that you got into Northeastern recently. Congrats!
Thank you!!! Just waiting on BC so I can decide @Dontskipthemoose
Any day now!!!
Do all second year applicants automatically have an Undecided major listed in their applicant portal, even if they put a specific intended major on the Common App? Or should it say what I put down as my intended major in my application instead of Undecided?
Mine says my intended major! @bettycrocker03
@bettycrocker03 do you mean under application info under status check? The first choice college and first choice major? If so, I too have my intended major, but I think it has been that way since I applied.
@Dontskipthemoose Yes, that’s what I mean. Ugh, I don’t know why mine says Undecided, I emailed my assigned counselor, so hopefully she’ll be able to edit it for me. Thank you both for your help! @transferfromgwu
called admissions today and they said that we would hear within the next week, but likely by the end of this week! they didn’t give me an exact date or time yet. they said they hadn’t decided the release time yet but that everyone would get an email containing their decision
What’s everyone’s GPA applying to MCAS? I know the website says the average accepted GPA is 3.6 but idk I feel like that seems low. I have a 3.75 and idk I might just be getting anxious this week since I didn’t get off the waitlist last year.
@transferapp1997 I have a 3.75 too. What major are you?
