<p>So i got into boston college and saint louis university. I loved SLU but and liked bc....but i don't know what to do. SLU seemed perfect but i'm worried that academically its not good enough. I liked BC also, didn't love it, but i know that bc can probably provide for more opportunities in the future. (saint louis also gave me a half ride and bc gave me nothing)</p>

<p>saccuccim: My son and I just got back from a visit to SLU and we both loved the school. It is an excellent fit for him for many reasons and like you, we think it is perfect. Then the letter came from BC today in the small envelope. He is actually relieved because he also prefers SLU to BC and is glad he doesn’t have to choose. Since you did not mention your area of study, it is hard to say if SLU is good enough academically in your major. S want to study biology/pre med and SLU is very strong in health sciences. We also hope that less strenuous academics will help him attain a higher gpa. I would rather see him happy at a less selective school than less-than-happy at an elite one.</p>
