Boston College or Wake Forest for Philosophy?

Hi, I am currently a high school senior trying to decide whether to go to Boston College or Wake Forest. I was accepted to BC early and I'm waiting for a decision from WF (I am confident that I will be accepted.)

First off I LOVE both schools but am currently leaning towards Wake because of its undergraduate focus and warmer weather. However, I am planning to major in philosophy and Boston College's philosophy department seems to offer a better variety of classes and programs. Their interdicilinary program "Perspectives" is one of the main reasons I even applied in the first place; it's reading list is fantastic.

Would going to Wake Forest still be better because of its undergraduate focus? I feel that I could get a philosophy education that is just as good as what I would get at BC solely because of the attention I would receive.

Any comments? I'm really split between the two...

Here are the links to the two departments:

Boston College. As a philosophy major, there is nothing better than a Jesuit education.

And don’t think I’m biased, I applied to both as well.

Yeah, I go to a Jesuit high school so I know how great the Jesuits are at encouraging learning. Thanks for the feedback.

They are really both schools but it really depends in what tyoe of philosphy you are going into. If you are going into post modern philospshy, wake forest is exceptional in that area (my opinion, however many agree), but maybe if you are going into modern philosphy or even ancient philsophy BC might be a good choice. I am not really sure what a jesuit school has to do with philosphy, if by that you meant religious philosphy, then wake forest has quite a good school of divinity.
