BC 2022!!! Any Latinos? Would like to meet >:D<
While a lot of juniors with 4 years move off, a lot also stay on. You are basically guaranteed a great housing situation as a junior and you don’t have to worry about finding a place to live or appealing to Res Life (so be grateful!!). BC is an awesome school with amazing opportunities but the housing lottery is literally a game of Survivor every year. It’s not a reason to not come to BC because it really is an awesome school but just know that it will probably cause you stress at some point.
Financial Aid comes out the 26th. (sorry to be the bearer of bad news)
But, also, congrats!
And for all those rejected, there are so many factors at play here. If you applied to BC, you probably have a decent shot at many other excellent schools. My friend was flat out rejected from BC and accepted to an Ivy. I was accepted to BC (with 4 years housing) and flat out rejected from my state flagship (not UVA/UC/UNC, etc…). Never know!
GOOD LUCK!
D accepted to CSOM and got 4 years of housing. FYI.
@Sugarnyc Good question. I would also like to know.

D received 4 years of housing. She is a legacy. I am a BC alum who only had 3 years of housing in my day. Most juniors go off campus anyway junior year. It’s part of the fun.
How is everyone viewing years of guaranteed housing?
Top 10 or 15% of students admitted as well as athletes, nursing and education majors, get 4 years housing. Living off junior year is fine and there are tons of parties off campus and they all live near each other so it’s a lot of fun. They like it and my daughter who has 4 years still lived off junior year to stay with her friends. All leading up to the big senior year on campus…very fun and viewed as the best year ever by most!

Idk I lowkey expected this but I’m still pretty salty, to be honest
I’m a nursing major but no where in my acceptance does it say I have four years of housing. Is it still safe to assume that I do?
