Do RD decisions all get released the same day the way ED and EA do or do they roll out in a wave? Do you receive an email ? What date has it been in past?
Same day in March.
what day or around what day?
@mardonna90265 it was March 22 last year.
i got deferred from early action- does that affect my chances at regular decision or is that reviewed the same as everyone else
You will definately get a full review and the deferral is no way a negative in RD. In fact so many students applied ea this year you may be in better position RD. Good luck and keep your chin up.
decisions coming out the week of march 17 sTRESS
My son got an email today that his application was complete and that we should find out the week of the 17th the decision online. Everyone is notified same day and they will email us the week of the 10th what day the decisions will be sent.
?
I received the same e-mail today
I thought they didn’t post decisions online. Did they change their policy?
“Decisions will be ** * emailed ** * during the week of March 17.”
Thank you for the response. It seems like we are applying to a lot of the same schools @STEM2017 I see you on nearly all my threads.
I don’t know if anyone can help or if anyone is in the same situation but we received an email from the office of student services today that congratulated my daughter on her acceptance and let her know that her financial aid application was not complete. My daughter applies RD and had not received any notification of acceptance. one of 2 things- 1-she has been admitted and the office is working on her aid package. 2- they sent out the wrong email to her. What do you think? We will
Have to call tomorrow
Several people on Reddit got this same email. Very odd. Hopefully it’s real!
Make sure to check the BC Portal. You can download the acceptance letter from there. FinAid - BC requires tax returns and W2’s that have to be physically mailed to them in addition to FAFSA and CSS.
my child got the same e-mail yesterday. Congratulating him on his acceptance and asking for more financial aid info. BC does not post decisions to portal.
I called this morning and they said it was a mistake that those emails were sent and that she didn’t get accepted yet no apologies. I told them that it was a very big mistake to make
@khobes I hope you didn’t tell them your daughter’s name before telling them they made a very big mistake. Honestly, they have no choice but to tell you it was a mistake. In my opinion, the mistake was that they gave you information before they were supposed to. I would consider it a good sign. By the way, we are definitely missing FA documents, and my son didn’t get an email. This was a huge reach and he will most likely be denied.
Ha ha! It was the financial aid office so hopefully they don’t have any power in rescinding a possible acceptance. we did indeed have missing documents. I just assumed they sent out the email that was meant to go to early action students. Fingers crossed for all of us!
