@Yocco1 That does suck… it seems like between BC and Northeastern, not many kids who actually see those schools as their first choice were accepted… maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know. There were only two kids from my school accepted into Northeastern (a couple of us got into NU In, myself included, but I don’t really count that as an acceptance) and neither of them have any intention of attending NU. Same to the few people I know who were accepted to BC. I also have to add that the people I know who did get into NU and BC are great students (obviously) but have incredibly weak ECs so I’m not sure what schools are looking for. Are Boston-area schools just extra-competitive this year? I hope everything works out for your son though!
@IllegeAcceptanc We can wallow in our obvious inferiority together… or just get over it because it’s just a school, lol.
This method of distribution was not wise on their part. not terribly considerate of how this would affect applicants evenings, some of whom must wait four hours for a decision.
Quite honestly i don’t see the logic in doing this to potential students at your college.
