So college decisions need to be made in less than a week and I still have no idea what college to choose! I am currently deciding between Boston College, Villanova, and University of Vermont’s Honors College. I also have slightly been considering University of Portland Honors Program just because I loved the campus and it’s closer to home (I’m from California and it’s also the cheapest option). I’m worried that Villanova and BC are too preppy/snobby for me. My parents want me to choose BC because it’s the most prestigious of the bunch but I’m so worried about the social environment there that I can’t make a decision. I don’t want to be at school surrounded by white snobby people, if that makes sense and I’ve read multiple reviews about both of those schools being just that. Do BC and/or Villanova have snobby environments? Are the people there generally friendly? (This is a legit question) I loved both Villanova and BC’s campuses, although I liked my overall experience at Villanova a little better (the tour guide was amazing and I just felt more welcomed there). But at the same time, I loved meeting the professors at BC and they seemed really passionate about their courses. I also visited UVM and I loved the community there too and UVM isn’t as suburban as the other two choices, which I liked. So, as you can see, I have no idea what to do and I would greatly appreciate if anyone could add some extra commentary about any of the schools! pls help me
