@Utahgirl what school within the university was he accepted to?
@DevlinHall208 I feel as though this time last year, admissions data for the incoming class was already out. Any word on what the overall stats are trending toward (% admission rate-wise)
BC’s twitter:
Q: “@BC_Admission will there be a second wave of waitlist offers this friday? any for Carroll School? please respond!”
A: “@garyhawk4 We do not know. When we do, acceptance emails will be sent or the waitlist will be cleared, likely that same day.”
So it sounds like our fate will be revealed soon…
@elena2122 @litlhoward2468 He got into Philosophy and heard last Friday via email. Good luck to both of you! I’m on UCONN waitlist and hoping to hear. Turned down Connecticut College, UVM, UMASS AM, etc, etc- I just want UCONN! It’s the best fit for me. I think UCONN and BC play football at times at Fenway- kind of fun! Good luck to you all.
Meaning I declined admission offer for Connecticut College, UVM, UMASS AM, etc. If I don’t get into UCONN I will might take a gap year. I know some might say I’m crazy, but I do not want to go somewhere and spend the money for something I just don’t want as I am full pay person. I will figure it out, life has many options, but still hoping for UCONN. I got nearly a full merit ride at another school, which is great, so I sent in a deposit there, but admittedly my heart is not quite in it as it tends to be a suitcase school and I don’t want that, and I just fell absolutely in looove with UCONN. I like to be very involved on campus and a suitcase school like the one I put $ down on limits that a bit with all the weekday classes and school work, We shall see. Hoping to be at a UCONN vs BC game with you all at some point! If we all get into our top choices it will have been well worth the wait. In the real world sometimes you don’t get the job you want right away, etc, etc, so this is all good learning for us!

@appplicant We do not release Class data until the Class is complete. The waitlist remains open, so the admission cycle remains open.
Anyone hear any updates?
Barely anyone mentioned that they got off the waitlist… Is the amount of wait list offers really that small?
You think they will release any offers today?
No email!
Will there be another round of offers?
@waitlistqueen123 they said that students have 10 days to accept the offer. They made the first round last Friday, so I’m guessing they will know on Monday if they need to make another round of offers
No acceptance…but no rejection either…truly a painful waitlist
Here are some recent stats for BC Waitlist. My friend got in last week- so psyched for him. Here’s what we discovered when cheering him on but not sure if the year this was based on was 2014 or 2015. Basically they took 8% off Wait List
Every college is different each year, but it’s usually pretty close to previous years. The bottom line is that if you were put on waitlist at any college or university, it’s a nice thing because you still have a shot. If you get admitted from the waitlist, it’s pretty special, because you will be in the statistical minority. So BC took 210 off waitlist, but there were 2,332 that they did not get to admit, unfortunately. The good thing is that the 2,332 not admitted probably had a fabulous #2 choice to go to.
STATS FOR BC (either 2014 or 2015)
Students Offered Wait List
4,695
Students Accepting Wait List Position
2,542
Students Admitted From Wait List
210
Good luck everyone- no matter what it will all be fine in the long run!
@DevlinHall208 Any updates? Do you know if there will be another round of offers?
Is the waitlist cleared yet? Or do you guys think there could be another round of offers possibly today?
@tyguy55 since there’s no email today, does that mean the wait list is cleared?
@elena2122 If the waitlist were cleared, there would have been emails/a tweet that would explicitly state the waitlist has been cleared. If I were a betting man, I’d say there’s one final batch coming, and then that’s it.
