Discussion thread for waitlisted applicants
Waitlisted
Waitlisted as well
same. pretty bummed. the fact that we have to wait another two months is just ridiculous

waitlisted
Unfortunately only 2-10% of us will be taken off the waitlist
Hi guys, I was waitlisted as well… Is this good? How competitive was the pool anyways? Does this mean I shouldn’t expect getting in to NYU, USC, Penn, Cornell, or Berkeley? Also, I am International if that counts for anything
I actually thought I was getting into BC, so I’m pretty scared that I might not get into any of my other reach schools.
Btw, please post results on the results thread…

waitlisted for nursing after getting deferred to regular decision really sad because BC is my #1 choice
I see heavy affirmative action
Seems like a lot of qualified people got waitlisted
applied early and got deferred. now i’m here
but there are other colleges that need our response /by/ may 1st. how are we supposed to stay on the waitlist then?
@sungjong that’s my question too! Could we withdraw from a college even after we declared we are gonna go there?
@BureaCat Yeah, I was thinking that because it’s not ED we can withdraw, but then we lose our deposit. I’m not sure, though, but that’s my guess ://
@BureaCat yup, thats right. paying the deposit isn’t like a legally binding thing like ED, but you wont be refunded for the deposit you paid for if you decide to attend somewhere else
@sungjong thanks!! @collegeeeeee thanks too!! Btw, I had to count how many Es you have in ur ID lol
