@chuckly I’m in school, maybe I’ll call during my lunch period… And there’s no way I can pay the deposit, I’m not with my parents lol

@bassinator yeah same situation here w/ me not being with my parents. i’m going to call and see what comes up. the mail only comes in the afternoon so i have no idea if the letter comes in today (plus i live in the MD-VA-DC area so i dont know if it will come today). hopefully the option wont disappear or anything :)

Yeah I live in nj so maybe I’ll get it today. Post what they say after you call admissions!!

@bassinator so i called admissions 5 minutes ago and the person who i spoke to basically said the official thing is the letter that comes in the mail and the person wouldnt really provide me with any other information besides that (whether i was accepted or not). i feel that it would seem kind of weird if i called twice in a day so if you would call or anyone else who had the same sort of thing happen to their portal that would be great :)

@chuckly- what changes show on your portal?

OH MY FREAKIN GOD GUYS. I GOT THE CHANGE TOO.
WHAT IS THIS SUPPOSED TO MEAN. WHAT. WHAT.
DID I GET IN. WHAT.

@dreambig101 so this came up on my portal-
(name) (eagle id)
If you have not previously submitted your non-refundable Enrollment Confirmation and Housing Guarantee fees, please click here to do so.

If you would like to withdraw your admission, please submit the Admission Withdrawal Form.

If you would like to postpone your enrollment, please submit the Admission Deferment Request.

@SeniorPanic was this what came up?? im just waiting for the mail now…

Seniorpanic- what does the portal say? If it gives you the option to pay your deposit then you are admitted.

@dreambig101 does that mean i am in? i dont have my parents with me so i cant pay the deposit… should i wait for the mail to confirm this or should i just pay right now??

Seniorpanic- pay it because you are in!!! They would not ask you to pay a deposit if you were not admitted!!!

We are waiting for our daughter but it looks like chuckly you are in. And no one deserves it more than you. You are very passionate about your BC choice.

@chuckly- pay it because you are in. They would not ask you to pay a deposit if you are not admitted. I accidentally wrote this to seniorpanic instead of you!!!

@cluelessly thanks so much- that’s really nice of you to say that :D!! good luck to your daughter as well! keeping my fingers crossed for a letter to come + everyone else on this board still waiting to hear back from BC

Wait so I’m confused. Is there going to be more than one round of acceptance letters? Or is this the only round of acceptance letters from the wait-list…and if you don’t get one then you definitely aren’t in? They said they can notify you until July 1st though…

@bps1002- BC typically pulls from their waitlist until June 30th. There are a few waves of acceptances from the list. Good luck!!!

@dreambig101 thank you! You too!! Also do you know if they only send out acceptance letters or do they also send out rejection letters too?

@bps1002- they will send out acceptance letters as well as a letter at the end of June stating that the wait list is now closed and the class is full.

So I still haven’t received a letter yet. Should I go ahead and pay the deposit online or should I wait? Has anyone else with the portal change received a letter yet?

@bps1002 so from what i understand, there are rounds of the waitlist. this would i assume be the first round (i still haven’t received my letter so i am not completely sure). they wil apparently systematically inform everyone to fill the holes in the class for this year. once they have received the amount that they need i assume that they would close the waitlist and inform everyone of their status. when i called, they told me that everyone would be informed via mail at some point.

@chuckly oh okay thank you. I’m keeping my fingers crossed! Good luck to you!!
