<p>I called CSOM they told me they would not be going to the waitlist… They also denied my request to be considered for economics at arts and sciences. Unless 200 kids suddenly drop out I’m pretty much out of hope</p>

<p>so i went ahead and paid the deposit… i got a confirmation email with some extra information along with some extra tabs regarding courses, financial aid, etc. is this supposed to be normal or did i make some sort of error? </p>

<p>chuckly, congrats! You should quickly look into orientation <a href=“Orientation - First Year Experience - Mission & Ministry - Boston College”>http://www.bc.edu/content/bc/offices/fye/orientation.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>so you can pick the dates which suit you best before the places fill up. Orientation is an incredible experience at BC.</p>

<p>bassinator, I don’t think you should pay a deposit until you get your financial aid package. How do you know that you will for sure be attending? If you pay a deposit and decide not to go, you will lose the money. Send them an email this weekend and ask about the financial aid and follow up on Monday with a phone call. Until then relax and enjoy. Congrats!</p>
