hey everyone,

fun fact: there is a group called "I Love Boston College". Heh, I actually transferred out of BC, but I did start the group. I left it in control of my friend Dan.

Like tdol said, BC is a great school but it may not be everything you think it is. It can feel too much like a country club at times.

To everyone going: do yourself a favor and join the 4Boston service program--specifically the Roxbury Youth Programs group. They're an incredible group of people (there are a few transfers in the group, they fit right in). I loved the group and you will too. If you do join, tell them Kelly sent ya.

Also, take a class by Brian Braman -- the greatest educator I have ever known. He is a philosophy/theology guy and his stuff is life-changing.

PM if u have q's

Best of luck to all of you.

i got my acceptance packet in the mail today, it said it was mailed june 12th.

My D1 applied EA to BC for '06, was deferred, waitlisted and rejected in mid-June "06/// So she accepted to Conn Coll and did very well..

Could not get BC off her mind after one year at Conn..

Applied to transfer to BC..

They sent a card asking if she wanted to waitlist.

She checked NO and I mailed it to BC, very happy to have her stay at Conn

Last week she got accepted at BC

So go figure, she accepted and will go to orientation in July

3.92 cum

Moral of the story: it ain't over until its over!

"It can feel too much like a country club at times".

why have it feel like everyone thinks this LoL... I know nothin about BC probably except that it is in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and that it ranked the same rank with NYU on the US New's Ranking.

I've never been there, but if it is as described the "country club" atmosphere with the uptite, stuck up people, then ughhh
why go there?
