Boston medical school PhD/Md program

Hi guys I just wanted to get some of your opinions about my situation/ what I should do. I’m currently in community college finishing my associates degree in natural science, I was accepted to Boston University for next semester where I can finish a bachelors degree in neuroscience. With that being said, I have plans to go to Boston Uni med school as well, but I wanted to know if the process will be difficult for me since I did most of my pre reqs in community college. I plan to do upper level sciences in BU. I don’t know if this will make a difference but I’m finishing my associates degree in a year and a half rather than two years so I’m transfering a semester early, in other words I’m transfering into my Spring semester of Sophomores year rather than transfering in Junior year fall semester. I hope that makes sense lol, but anyways I know it may seem too early but I just wanted to be prepared. I wanted to apply to the phd/md program which is 8 years and seems to be the hardest program to get into. I did will in all my pre reqs in community college (got all A’s and A-'s, got a C+ in calculus 1 but an A- in calculus 2) so please tell me if i have a chance for the phd/md program or if I should just do the four year program, thank you

Well before you get to applying, you have to know your MCAT score and see whether it’s competitive or not. As well, you will need to have a lot of research experience to apply to a PhD/MD program. So, right now I think it’s still too early to determine whether or not you have a chance at the program.
