Boston U vs. McGill

Boston U, McGill isn't that great. Boston is so much nicer!

Please help me decide which univeristy to pick! I'm majoring is history/political science. I'm thinking of going to law school afterwords. All these schools have their good points and their bad points...i guess you can post each schools highlights and flaws? i'm particularly concerned with quality of education, social life, reputation, and law school admissions statistics, haha.

Almost everything in terms of academics is better at McGill. Social life may be a tie--McGill's advantage is in Montreal party nightlife, but Boston is a real college city. I live in Montreal and have visited Boston many times; both cities are similar in many ways. You'd really have to visit.

i have visited... both are awesome. but i think mcgill may have an advantage when it comes to social life..18 years vs 21 years

academically, McGill wins, no doubt..

I'm unsure how Montreal is but i know Boston is def. a great college city..

is location/party life more important, or is academics?

remember, you plan to stay in this place for 4 years of your life..

I like Boston, but I prefer Montreal. As far as universities go, I think McGill is slightly better than BU. Overall, I'd recommend McGill over BU. Besides, isn't McGill like half the price of BU?

I also prefer McGill. Canadian dollars are a lot cheaper than American dollars, plus McGill is better in terms of academics than BU. Great campus too. BU's campus wasn't impressive.
