McGill (Montreal) vs. Boston University

I am a 19 year old American trying to choose a college. I have narrowed it down to these two. Some advice, thoughts, or opinions would be greatly appreciated! I was accepted into the arts department at McGill and CGS at BU. I am not sure what to study but have thought about business, political science, history, archaeology, criminal justice, astronomy, or a foreign language. BU has a beautiful campus filled with brownstones and is a lovely city, although I think everything closes down earlier than in Montreal. It seems less rigid at BU, like you can explore your Interests or double major more easily. McGill has a nice closed campus and a solid reputation in Canada at least (but I worry about not studying in the USA as I want to go to grad school in the USA or England. Like is a Canadian school acceptable if I study law or criminal justice or in general is it know and accredited). Being in a French speaking city with a drinking age of 18 sounds nice. It is also cheaper (COL and tuition). My French is decent. I’ve studied it for 6 years and studied abroad in France, but my accent is awful, and I get nervous when I have to use it. I think my lack of Canadian citizenship or being fluent in French could make getting Internships difficult as well. I couldn’t get a part-time job at McGill in all likelyhood. Maneuvering around a different (Canadian) grading system could be a challenge as well. BU had very nice housing options like specialty brownstones and a cool CGS London program ( I’m sure McGill does study abroad too though). While Montreal does have the old port area, it just didn’t seem as pretty as Boston to me, no offense. Which city would be better to network in? A degree from which place holds more esteem or value? Which is more reputable? If I went to BU, it would be harder to pay for grad school as it is more costly. Alsp, which city has better public transit? Thanks for reading this!
