Chance me for Trustees?

Hi all! I have a high interest in going to BU but my situation is being purely determined by finances at this point. I am wondering what the probability is of being awarded the Trustee given my academics, and how important the essay is in consideration (I submitted last minute).
GPA: 4.62/4 W 4.0/4.0 UW, Class Rank: 1/560
SAT: 2220 , ACT: 33
AP: Will have taken/passed 16 by the time I graduate; So far 5s -Human Geography, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, European History, World History, American History, Eng Lang/Comp; 4s -Biology, Physics 1; 3 -Chemistry
Have taken/received an A in Calc III at a local college
EC: JV/Varsity lacrosse 4 years, President/member of multiple honor societies, Math tutor, +100 hrs community service, Piano + Bass guitar player, Captain of senior powder puff, 2 summer academic programs (1 was in Boston)
Honors: National Merit Semifinalist; National AP Scholar; Highest Achievement in both Math and Science grades 9,10,11; Regional STEM Scholar grades 11,12

Any input on this would be more than helpful! Merit scholarships like these are my only hope for attending college out of state and the uncertainty is killing me.

You have a chance but like Ivy admission, BU Trustees is a lottery, but you have a ticket.

I think you will get 20K for NMF. Is that enough for you to be able to afford BU?

The NMF would knock it down a bit, but the cost of attendance is still out of reach for my family without a large amount of loans.

I was a TS many years ago. I don’t know if I would have been today. My SATs were not stratospheric, but I had good grades, was 4th in my class at a rigorous private school, had science ambitions as well as a creative streak (photography) and studied Russian. My fellow TSs were a fun, slightly nerdy bunch. Many were #1 in their high school classes. I happened to live in the Trustee Scholar house where we made up quiz games. A lot of TSs I know went on to get PhDs.

I think you are TS material, but f course there are a lot of good applicants, all nominated by their schools. The fact you are 1st in your class helps. Good luck to you!
