*Boston University Class Of 2016: Regular Decision Thread*

On my applicant link, it says “Our records indicate that review of your application for admission is complete.” So my application is reviewed and done with. However, when I check the financial aid tab, it says “Additional forms may be requested when your application is reviewed. Once a decision is made on your application for admission, a decision will be made on your financial aid.”

So does that mean my application was reviewed or not? Is it just me or are there other people with the same problem?

@applefan9

The Financial Statement is just that hahaha a requirement for international students to prove that we can financially support our own education, though it was only required at BU

@AmericanDreams

Yes it is hahaha is was just confused about that thing hahaha.

Wow! Congrats, I haven’t received any news from schools, but I’m not nervous about that, I have a scholarship here in Mexico in the best business school in Latin America! Of course, I prefer BU or NYU!! So I hope to meet you there!!

Question: Did you applied for scholarships or were they awarded to you? How does that work?

Congrats again and I hope we all get into NYU

And BU as well, sorry for the message it was sent incomplete.

Another question if you don’t mind: Are thee any AP classes and all that in India! Cause in Mexico theres not??

Thanks so ,Uchicago and sorry about the incomplete message I really want BU!!

And sorry about the grammar mistakes hahahaha I’m making a fool of myself, the stupid iPad auto correct is killing me!!!

Thanks! wow so are u considering that as well??
yeah let’s hope we get in…

Uchicago is like really good too!

No i didnt cuz i heard it reduces ur chances of admission, they just gave it to me for some reason! LOL

I haven’t heard of anyone taking AP’s in India…

No problem, i know right this auto correct in all apple devices is kinda irritating at times!

Last year the decision was released on 3/26 which is a Saturday. Idk, If I had to guess I would say that it would be end of this week (possibly the 24th) or beginning of next week. I am really nervous for financial aid here, I can’t make my parents pay for 60k a year.

@AmericanDreams

Wow I hope I get one too, I too didn’t apply for any scolarship for the exact same reason, thankfully I’m able to pay for full tuition, but a scolarship is so great!!

Hope the admission decisions will be released soon!

There seem to be variations, look at the last part of icejets and briz

@Icejets2016grad, that’s what I have exactly. it kinda seems like they have an admission decission already by the wording! haha when did you apply?

Thought it was odd stating that “all applicants are expected to submit senior grades as soon as they are available” when the only senior grades they don’t have will not be available until May 31st which is close to two months after I’ve either been accepted or rejected.

That’s what I was thinking Ready. I applied the last possible day…believe Feb 1 or Jan 31. Nothing like waiting till the last minute, :-)

Mine says what @Icejets2016grad says

does that mean people with ‘Please be aware that all applicants are expected to submit senior grades as soon as they are available’ are more likely to be admitted…?

^thats what I was thinking. Applicants who enroll are required to submit their final senior grades

I was thinking maybe its a different message for each college/school, if you observe more carefully…!

^oh that’ true, all the people who are applying to SMG don’t have the senior grades sentence. I’m also applying to SMG and it says the same thing
