Anyone know the stats for the College of Fine Arts at Boston University? Or anyone who has gotten into the College of Fine Arts or know anything about it??

Information would be great!! I applied and am currently waiting for the application decisions.

I got in but I’m not sure about the reputation of the program itself… My stats are 3.8/4.2 gpa and a 32 act. I think equal weight is on both portfolio and academics

Lots of misconceptions flying around.
There certainly are performance scholarships for undergraduates, usually not more than $25,000 but sometimes up to full rides.

Asking about the “stats” for CFA is problematic in two ways. First of all, each school of CFA (music, thater, visual art) has an admissions process /completely separate/ from the others. Second, the academic stats of admitted students don’t tell you much about your chances, because the quality of your audition or portfolio is by far the most important factor in admission. Art and academics are /not/ equally weighted.
Third, even within each school, the selectivity varies by degree program.
