Did anyone else receive the apology letter?
@hopefultransferx is there one that was sent today or is it the one that was sent on the 29th that guaranteed admission
@Ryguy201 they sent a letter today?
Not that I know of. I was just asking @hopefultransferx if there was one sent today

Lol for real, I too am getting to the point of just daydreaming what a 2 paragraph portal looks like
@penntousc it’s exciting when it happens but gets old really quick
This is the letter I am talking about. Anyone else get it?
You recently received an email regarding your Boston University ID (UID) number. This email was sent to you prematurely, and we apologize for any confusion it may have caused. However, I write with the good news that you have been admitted to Boston University as a transfer student. We will formally announce our decisions next week on the MyBU Portal and more information about your admission will be forthcoming.
Again, we apologize for this inadvertent error, but wish you all the best as you celebrate this happy news. Congratulations!
Best wishes,
John C. McEachern
Director of Admissions
@hopefultransferx
yeah I got that one
@Ryguy201 Psyched I got in but such a weird way to find out. I just want to see it officially on the website to make sure its real
I have two paragraphs but no email so I am a little worried.
@estabrooka
The emails seem like an error that they caught pretty early. I wouldn’t worry about it too much
@Coopy1 I got 20k merit about. No financial aid because of my parents income.
@estabrooka I wouldn’t worry yet. Honestly, it seems like they have no clue what’s going on right now. It’s so bad.
I applied to the psychology program as a future sophomore with a 3.4 GPA my first semester of freshman year. I have not gotten any email and my portal says: do you think I will get in??? is that program hard to get in? I am an international student and not asking for any financial aid.

Our records currently indicate that your application for admission is complete. Please note that the status of your application file and the required credentials are only accurate to date. Upon further evaluation, the Board of Admissions may determine that we need further information to complete your application file. If so, we will contact you, or you may check our web site at a later date. If you would like to discuss your application further, please call us at 617-353-4492 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and a member of our staff can answer any remaining questions that you may have.
@sromerogomez hard to say, most of our portals still have that message and we haven’t heard anything yet. A 3.4 may or may not make it a bit difficult to get in depending on the other aspects of your application, but I can’t imagine psychology being especially competitive since it’s CAS.
wouldnt it help me if I had incredible essays, great resume and not asking for any financial aid??
I wonder what next year’s transfers will say about this year’s admission process lol
