How is the selectivity?! Is it fun and challenging? Any information about it would be appreciated!!

I did it last summer and I LOVED it....everything. I met so many different people...from all over the country and all over the world.

The professors were great too...unlike some other summer programs, you take classes with the professors that teach at BU during the reg. school year. One of my professors was doing all this research that she was known like...world-wide for and I interviewed her for a paper that I was writing for my other class. It was really cool...definitely do it. It was challenging...there was a lot of work, but it's definitely do-able.

And living in Boston was just awesome...plus there aren't too many restrictions..just a curfew, but it's not so bad. PM me if you have any q's

D1 (sr) did Honors last summer and D2 (jr) did Challenge at BU last summer. I highly recommend both programs depending on what you are looking for.

One of the most wonderful things was that professors taught the courses and classes were small. D1 established a wonderful relationship with one of her professors that really helped her to decide what schools to apply to and direction for her college major. Warren Towers have no A/C and she had a bit of homesickness, but otherwise had a wonderful experience there.

Her courses were very challenging and interesting. There was a lot of homework, but she learned to manage her time well and had plenty of opportunities to enjoy all that Boston had to offer. She made some wonderful friends there from all over the country and the world. Another thing she really enjoyed was taking a dance class at the rec center. For an extra small fee, you can take anything from dance to sailing. Sign up for one of the classes early though, the class she really wanted filled up fast.

I'm not sure how selective the program is, but I would encourage you to submit your application early.
