Boston University, Miami of Ohio, Ohio State University, or Indiana University?

Hey guys,

As May 1 approaches, I attempt to make my college decision. I am going to major in business and have several options, please help!

Boston University CGS, Miami of Ohio Farmer school of business, OSU business, or Indiana Kelley?

Thanks!

Boston University College of General Studies:

I love the idea of being in the city! There are so many awesome opportunities in Boston and there is no other place that makes me as happy as Boston does. The only problem is that I did not get direct admit into the business school. I would have to take 2 years of a course load that I can’t change, which has a couple courses I have no interest in. It is nice that would get the liberal arts education and the business education all within 4 years, but not having the ability to change the courses scares me.

BU CGS is a “lower” college than BU. Frankly it’s not worth it. If you want to spend time in Boston, delineate a career plan that takes you there for the summer on internships.
Miami OH Farmer and Indiana Kelley are both the clear stars in your list.
However, how much would each cost if you calculate: (tuition, fees, R&B) - (scholarships, grants)?
How much in loans would you have to take, per year?

Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business is the best of these four.

All of the other schools have much nicer campuses than Boston University. But obviously the city of Boston is an amazing place to go to college. On the other hand, that does not mean much unless you also want to work in Boston following graduation.

Bloomington is a very nice town, and I consider it much better than both Columbus and Oxford.

As @MYOS1634 suggests, you definitely should take cost into account.

For 4 years, what is your net price for Indiana, Miami & tOSU? In other words, how much debt will you have after 4 years at each of the above?
As MYOS1634 says, BU CGS is definitely not worth attending if you cannot transfer to their business UG program.
Have you visited the universities, and what are your impressions?
