Boston University RD 2023

Also, that section of the CDS is a little vague; indicates would be a better word than says

Does anyone know what are the requirements for transferring into COM from CAS??? Just in case I will change my mind. :blush:

All ED1 deferred applicants, Do you portals have the “your application is under review” on your home page, and “our records indicate” on the admissions status page?

I am an ed1 deferred applicants. I have under review on my home page and thanks you message on the admission status page.

@EngineerBoy yeah I have it

@EngineerBoy Yes I have that

@EngineerBoy yes

When do decisions come out?

@Safalm2019 March 23

Based on the last 3 years, it may be tomorrow/Sat @8am

@MarilynT They sent out an email specifically stating that decisions would be the 23rd

@antamiii They said by the 23rd. Which means that the 23rd is the latest date and it could come before that.

The email stated: “admission decisions will be posted on MyBU on March 23. You will receive an email when your decision is available”.

Have they released the decisions earlier in the past years?

Last year they released their decisions on 3/17. This year they’ve said 3/23. Seems a Saturday decision release is their pattern, but apparently they’ve chosen a later Saturday this year.

So the mail said ON 3/23 not BY 3/23. Is that correct?

Yes that’s correct

@TomSrOfBoston Yes, “on 3/23” was the wording of the letter. We can always hope they complete the process and post sooner nonetheless!

so I applied ED2 and got deferred from Questrom but I also applied to CGS and CGS Boston-London. I reached out to the rep showing that I had a continued interest in BU and no matter what school or program I get into I would be willing to commit in addition to other reasons why BU is my top (I didn’t get a response so idk if something happened or…). I also attended an interest session at my school and campus tour and info session. With a GPA that is qualified for BU, good essays, good ECs but a below average SAT would I still have a solid shot?

btw I did not mean “solid shot” like I’m getting in bc I know these schools are hard to get into and nothing is guaranteed, but I was wondering more whether I have A shot to get in or not
