Can anyone please provide more info on Boston RISE program. My daughter got an admission in this program. Just I want to know if this RISE program is good and what are pros and cons. </p>

<p>From what I’ve read on college confidential, although RISE is a bit less selective than other research camps (ex. RSI, SSP, Simons, HSHSP, Garcia), it’s definitely worth attending. Students will work on individual research projects, and some submit them to the Intel/Siemens competitions. RISE is definitely better than all those “summer college” programs that cost $10,000 for 4 weeks… Also, doing a research project looks really good on a college app, if that’s what you’re looking for. The only reason not to attend RISE would be an acceptance to a more selective Research program.</p>
